Travel
For our family and friends visiting from overseas, it is recommended you travel via Edinburgh or Aberdeen Airport, as these are the closest locations. From there you can hire a car, taxi or mini-bus to take a group of you to the Castle Grounds. If you have opted for a room on the Castle Grounds, you will be shown to your accommodation and where to park by staff on site.

It is recommended you can travel by car, taxi or mini-bus to the Venue. The Castle itself is in the countryside, so without transport it is difficult to enjoy the surrounding areas. The location itself is beautiful, so is perfect for walks, hiking and climbing.
Accommodation
You have the possibility to stay in the castle grounds at your own expense. Please note, however, that on-site accommodation includes rooms that must be shared with another person. We estimate costs, as a guide, to be between £80-£90 per night for a single person. Around £150-£160 for a couple in a double room. These amounts represent an estimate which may vary depending on your situation. We will then send you a final price quote taking into account your specific situation and the number of nights desired.
You also have the option of opting for accommodation in the neighboring villages of Stonehaven and Inverbervie, which have hotels if you prefer to arrange your own accommodation.
In order to be able to send you an accurate price for on-site accommodation, please complete and indicate this choice in the wedding reservation form. This accommodation after your agreement must be paid in advance.
